while i drank my cup of coffee and kevin had his cigarette, i noticed that there on the side of his house in the middle of west oakland was a big bundle of wild hydrangea bushes! blue, purple and pink. i can't believe i never noticed them...it could be because of the old futon mattress that was propped up against the house for so long. i had learned to overt my eyes. anyway, it made me happy that not only does my cute boyfriend live there, but so do these beautiful hydrangeas! i snipped one for my hanging vase.

and now i'm off to my internship at lacis...today is the bobbin lace group, so i'm hoping i get to hang out and make lace.
